Back in 2018, I was given the chance to write some reviews for the fine folks over at WeAreMovieGeeks.com. Those reviews included films like HoverAlong Came the Devil, and American Dresser, which varied between decent and terrible. This time, I was asked to review the upcoming aquatic thriller Sea Fever, the feature debut of TV-director Neasa Hardiman. Overall, I enjoyed the film, praising it for its solid performances, impressive direction, decent pacing, and effective use of tension. Granted, the film does take elements from other, better films like Alien and The Thing, but what film hasn’t? You can take influence from all over so long as the result is good, or at least decent. Thanks again to the people at WeAreMovieGeeks.com for giving me this opportunity, and I hope to work with them again. Check out the review at the link below, and check out the site itself.

Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to interview with Faking Star Wars Radio podcast with co-host Storm Duper. We talked about the Star Wars franchise as a whole, the fanbase, good and bad, and other recent movie news. I had such a great time sharing my thoughts on recent films and the current state of the industry. If you’re a fan of the Star Wars franchise, check them out online and give their podcast a listen. They’ve done series retrospectives, covered recent Star Wars news, and delivered tons of snarky commentary along the way. This is the first time I’ve ever been on a podcast, so let me know what your thoughts are. Should things go well, I hope to appear on future FSW episodes or even on other similar podcasts. Again, thanks so much to FSW, and enjoy the interview with Faking Star Wars Radio!

Some of you may remember that I was previously asked by the fine folks at WeAreMovieGeeks.com to provide some reviews. The first one was for the sci-fi film Hover, which I thought was fairly decent. Then, I was asked to review the horror film Along Came the Devil, which I found to be pretty bad. Nevertheless, I love what these guys do and I love having the opportunity to work with them. Once again, I’ve been asked to write up a new review for them, and I’m not one to disappoint. This time, they’ve asked me to review the biker drama American Dresser. In my review, I mention how while the cast is certainly impressive, the movie as a whole doesn’t really work. Click the link below for my review, and be sure to check out the site for reviews, contests, and more.

If you’ll recall, I was asked by We Are Movie Geeks to write a review for the science-fiction film, Hover. Well, not too long ago, they called upon me again for another review. This time, it was for an indie horror film called Along Came the Devil. Unfortunately, unlike the last one, this movie was pretty abysmal. While Hover wasn’t exactly the new sci-fi masterpiece, it was at least decent. Along Came the Devil, however, was probably one of the weakest films I’ve seen this year. I found it to be nothing more than another lame attempt at making an exorcism film. Still, I am glad for the opportunity to work with WAMG again, and I encourage you all to visit their site! They have some great stuff on there, such as reviews, news, and giveaways.

Some exciting news! I was recently asked by We Are Movie Geeks to write a review for an upcoming science-fiction film called Hover. I have been a huge fan of theirs for a long time, and I’ve won free passes to several advance screenings through them over the years. I’m even friends with the wonderful Tom Stockman, who is one of the head writers for the website. If you’d like to read my review for Hover, you can go to the link below. While you’re there, check out some of the other reviews and blog posts that they have on their site. Who knows? You might even be able to win some free passes or some other kind of awesome prizes. Huge thanks to We Are Movie Geeks for this opportunity, and I hope I get more chances to work with them in the near future!
